Lauren Johns is a London-born printmaker and artist of Irish, English and Bajan descent. Her practice is characterised by expressive mark-making and subtly explores the connection between her heritage and the ways in which she experiences community. Her approach is not limited by medium and she employs a range of techniques in her work including monoprint, linocut and chine-colle. Lauren has created works for a number of forward-thinking chefs, winemakers and artisans and explores established notions of what food is, how it’s produced and what it represents. She also works with private clients and is available for commissions.
